At Music Family,
we believe that:
- Children are capable of extraordinary things that will stun and inspire us if we don’t underestimate them!
- The “secret sauce” of success is the teacher, student, and parent working together to “draw” out the seed of giftings in each child.
- Setting and working towards milestones and goals is key to all aspects of development, be it character, academic, emotional, etc! To that end, we are a performance-oriented school, creating consistent opportunities for our students to showcase what they have learned to the local communities in various venues, individuals and as a group!

- We have 12 state of the art sound proofed rooms, Yamaha and Kawai pianos, and a space we like to call the “living room” where parents are encouraged to have a coffee and relax. We want our clients to truly feel like “members” of a family, part of a community where warm connections are made.

Teachers and Lessons
We offer piano, guitar and voice lessons for children and adults. A famous proverb says that “A person’s heart are deep waters, but a person with understanding draws it out.”
We have a rigorous and comprehensive teacher selection process, we place a strong emphasis on our teachers having high technical proficiency, education in their craft, and musicality, but we place an equally strong emphasis on the candidate’s personal qualities, character, ability to teach effectively in a way a student can truly absorb and receive, humility, and dedication to inspiring and drawing out the best in our students.
