- We have 12 state of the art sound proofed rooms, Yamaha and Kawai pianos, and a space we like to call the “living room” where parents are encouraged to have a coffee and relax. We want our clients to truly feel like “members” of a family, part of a community where warm connections are made.

We are a new music school in the heart of Encino with Big Ideas. We offer piano, guitar, and voice lessons for all skill levels, from budding beginners to seasoned musicians. Whether you’re 4 or 94, our personalized instruction will help you find your rhythm and unleash your musical potential! We spent a year designing and constructing a state of the art 2000 square foot studio with the goal of creating a space to inspire students, parents, teachers, and our community! We offer piano, guitar and voice lessons for children and adults. A famous proverb says that “A person’s heart are deep waters, but a person with understanding draws it out.”
We have a rigorous and comprehensive teacher selection process, we place a strong emphasis on our teachers having high technical proficiency, education in their craft, and musicality, but we place an equally strong emphasis on the candidate’s personal qualities, character, ability to teach effectively in a way a student can truly absorb and receive, humility, and dedication to inspiring and drawing out the best in our students.

I recently took my daughter to a trial lesson at Music Family in Encino, and it was an amazing experience! The music teacher was highly skilled, patient, and truly passionate. The studio is brand new and absolutely stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere that inspires creativity and focus. Music Family is incredible! Our two boys (5 and 3) are reading music and plunking away on the piano in just 10 weekly lessons! Teacher Gaby is a dream come true! Plus, the lobby is warm and welcoming and a great place to wait while my boys are in their lessons. Highly recommend!

We been going to Music Family for about 3 months now and have been very happy with our experience so far. Our wonderful private tutor took a break when she had a baby and I was so worried about finding another option for my son. I started adult singing lessons at Music Family to improve my confidence and presentation skills at work. Shadi has been amazing to work with and very flexible with my schedule. The instructors are top-notch, and I saw a dramatic improvement in my confidence and speaking skills within a couple of months. I highly recommend Music Family LA! My 7 year old son has learned so much super fast playing the piano. He absolutely loves Mr. Stevie! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher. It’s warm, friendly, and feels more like a supportive community than a traditional music school. I’m taking adult voice lessons with Joshua, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He’s a professionally trained opera singer with a Master’s from UCLA (so talented!) and such a passionate, patient teacher who really is interested in the growth of the student. I loved how Music Family sent a welcome email before my first lesson to introduce him—that little touch made me feel instantly comfortable. My son had his first piano lesson with teacher Gaby and I could not recommend this school more! First off, the school is in a prime location with easy parking on the street or in the lot behind it. The inside is clean and inviting. The piano instructor Gaby was amazing. She was very patient with my son. She had a lot of tools to help him understand the basics of the piano. My son and I both left the lesson excited. He said she was very nice and knew a lot about piano and I couldn’t agree more. We can’t wait to continue lessons!
