My son had his first piano lesson with teacher Gaby and I could not recommend this school more! First off, the school is in a prime location with easy parking on the street or in the lot behind it. The inside is clean and inviting. The piano instructor Gaby was amazing. She was very patient with my son. She had a lot of tools to help him understand the basics of the piano. My son and I both left the lesson excited. He said she was very nice and knew a lot about piano and I couldn’t agree more. We can’t wait to continue lessons!

My 4-year-old son has been taking guitar lessons, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The teacher is incredibly patient and knows how to make learning fun and engaging for young kids. He tailors the lessons to my son’s age and keeps him excited about music every step of the way. I’ve seen great progress, and most importantly, my son loves it! Highly recommend for young beginners!

I recently took my daughter to a trial lesson at Music Family in Encino, and it was an amazing experience! The music teacher was highly skilled, patient, and truly passionate. The studio is brand new and absolutely stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere that inspires creativity and focus. I highly recommend Music Family! I was looking for piano lessons for my 8.5-year-old son who is on the spectrum, and who has a strong love for music, singing, and dancing. It was important to me to find a place that would not only accept but truly understand a child like my son. From the first moment, Shadi—the owner—was incredibly welcoming. She took the time to give us a tour of her beautifully designed space, making sure my son felt comfortable and included. It didn’t feel like it was our first time there at all. She even started playing piano with him right away, which helped him relax and enjoy the experience. When she introduced us to John, our instructor, my son instantly connected with him. While we were in the room, he also became curious about the guitar and drums nearby—which was such a joy to see. What makes Music Family stand out even more is their partnership with the Regional Center and their openness to working with kids and adults on the spectrum. Shadi and the whole team are so great here. My son started piano lessons a couple months ago and she matched us up with a great teacher who fit his personality, and he’s been embracing the piano ever since. What a gem! We are so happy that we found MusicFamilyLA. We love the space- so beautiful, bright, and perfect for kids! Our 3 year old started working with Ms. Gabby and she is great with him! She tailored the program to meet his 3 year old needs. I can tell that she really spends time preparing what they will work on each session. He is learning all about music in an age appropriate way, with stuffed toys and many visuals, the drum, piano, and shakers. They recently held a concert for their newest musicians and it was so so sweet! The owner Shadi is very caring, attentive to what the students need, and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend Music Family LA! My 7 year old son has learned so much super fast playing the piano. He absolutely loves Mr. Stevie! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher. Shadi, the owner, is also very flexible and easy to work with. The studio is modern yet cozy, creating a great environment for learning. Overall, an amazing experience!

If you’ve been thinking about taking music lessons—definitely check out Music Family! This place is seriously amazing. It’s warm, friendly, and feels more like a supportive community than a traditional music school. I’m taking adult voice lessons with Joshua, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He’s a professionally trained opera singer with a Master’s from UCLA (so talented!) and such a passionate, patient teacher who really is interested in the growth of the student. I loved how Music Family sent a welcome email before my first lesson to introduce him—that little touch made me feel instantly comfortable. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or even expert or picking music back up after years, this is the perfect place. They work with students of all ages and levels, and every teacher I’ve encountered is top-notch. I love it here. I highly, highly recommend it!

Great place and people. I’m talking adult lessons from Stevie and he makes it fun and the right amount of informal. It sorta comes together in a brilliant way. I make noticeable progress each week, and it keeps me very engaged. I’m oddly sorta bummed to go on vacation and missing a lesson :)

We found this gem while driving by and have had the most wonderful experience so far. Our son began guitar lessons and his instructor is experienced, kind and communicative. The owner has a beautiful studio that welcomes all ages and all abilities. We are happy to have found this music studio.
